Been DJing since I was 13 when me and a few friends found a FAL disco deck in the studio at school. After that it was bedroom mixing for me till I was 16 when I was luckily enough to get a chance to play at Picasso’s in Wolverhampton. After that it was playing house parties until I started University when I managed to get a job at The Viper Bar in Wolverhampton. When they found out I could DJ I began playing every week alongside DJ’s such as Kiddo, Mark Archer (Altern-8) and Tricksta. The best moment I remember is playing to a full bar at 9pm on a non ticket event and being told I was probably one of the best young DJs in Wolverhampton.

Charlie Chalke jumped on the house scene around 2008, but Charlie’s passion for music started from a very young age. he started DJing around the age of 13, but being too young to realise he could ever pursue a career in this industry he just played music as a pastime doing local parties for friends, mixing old school garage and drum and bass. Charlie’s influences from these genres include names such as Roni Size, Mampy Swift and Zinc to EZ and Heartless Crew. Influences from earlier days range from legends like Stevie Wonder, The Drifters, Bob Marley and UB40. Charlies influences today from the house scene involve too many to list but would like to mention Format B, Pleasurekraft and Mark Knight.
Moving to the present Charlie has been moving around various parts of the world and has experienced clubs and bars such as Ibiza Rocks and Bar M (Ibiza), Herbal (Shoredich) House and Terrace (Greenwich) various beach parties in Thailand around Ko Pang Yan and Ko Sumai.
Charlie has just now started his own production career with his debut release “ALL ABOARD” signed with “AVENUE RECORDINGS” which can be found on Beatport.
Charlie is now working with many different artists with many tracks in the making and is looking to put his own unique touch on the house scene of today and wants to become a huge success and influence in the up and coming future.

I got interested in D.J.ing at the age of 13 and have developed a great love for music ever since. I started off playing drum and bass on local pirate radios.
I gained my club experience from 2001 playing a in popular clubs in Essex and London. I was a vinyl DJ back then but in 2009 and I made the decision to ditch the vinyl and go digital. I now mix via USB on CDJ’s , I still prefer using my own skills to mix rather than beat matching software. I beleive mixing this way allows the energy I give off in my sets to be picked up by the crowd.
I have my own style of mixing and scratching and always stay upfront with the tracks I play.
When I mix I cut different baselines across to give maximum impact on a loud system then roll a nice long mix out to change track. In the clubs I’ve played at I have always had a good response this is how I know my style works. I put a lot of hard work into my sets and always try to play better than the time before.
I love mixing, I love the music and I love meeting new people.

For those of you who are new to the “Divine Experience,” here is a brief introduction and bio of The BEATMASTER-DJ Jon Divine
Born and raised in New York City, one of the largest musical capitals in the world, DJ Jon Divine was raised around music. As his family members were part of pop bands and music talent, Jon grew up with the knowledge of music from the 50s all the way to today’s pop culture.
At a young age, Jon always knew he wanted to be a performer. As a child, he had aspirations of being a singer. However, at the age of 11, Jon began to experiment with the art of DJing after being introduced to the art by a club DJ onboard a Royal Caribbean cruise line.
Jon was immediately hooked and focused on becoming an entertainer through the style of local heroes such as DJ Spinbad. Becoming an icon among his peers, Jon started hosting parties throughout high school and teamed up with several mobile companies in order to obtain knowledge from other experienced DJs in the industry.
In 2009, Jon decided to put some of his work on Youtube.com. He focused on his “How To” videos in order to game him publicity. His most successful video, was one of his first, entitled “How to Start DJing: Q&A.” Today, the video has reached over 60,000 views and has made it on Wikihow.com Jon continues to post videos as frequently as possible, answering questions and showing his talent through mini mixes.
After graduating high school, Jon Divine started showcasing his talents in local clubs and lounges. Earning residency spots in NYC and doing guest appearances all over the tri-state area.
Now, Jon is focused on advancing his career as a musical engineer as well as a performing DJ. He is now attending IAR: The Institue of Audio Research, in NYC and plans on working full time in studios as well as traveling to be a performing DJ.
Some of his influences are:
DJ Spinbad, DJ Yonny, DJ AM, DJ Vice, DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Beatbreaker, and DJ Johnny Beez.
Although his talent proves his ability to be one of the best in the world, his humility shows his compassion and drive for the art.
“I do consider myself to be one of the top DJs in NYC, however, as I grow, so does my talent. I’m not going to settle for just ‘good or great.’ One day, I hope that i will influence thousands of people to be better than me, just like the influences in my life. For all the upcoming DJs, I hope that one day you will outshine my talent, but until then, you’re going to have your work cut out for you – i’m not going to stop!”

Notting Hill Carnival is a great honour for any artist and Rugrat has been privileged enough to be a part of Europe’s biggest carnival scene this past year.
